A closer view of the hoary frost we had. It was interesting to find it on half of the pine cone and to see how far the frost could extend.

I think hoary frost is interesting in itself...and it doesn't last long either...gotta get out there with the camera early. Great close look.

Like how the frost is mixed in with the pine needles. The cone adds a nice touch to the center of this winter wonderland!
