My last tree shot in the series. Taken near Thirsk, North Yorkshire, England. Again messed with the lighting to create this result.

andy this is very nice I like the way the edge of the road just slightly shows up with some color. Very nice overall post. Sandi

I love the sweep of the road, and the way the colour you've used highlights the grass . . . I hope you're going to brave the cold to take some more :-)

I love this. The composition is very pleasing and the green/yellow sky makes for a very unusual and interesting image.

First, I like this. It is an intriguing look ... and a very well-balanced composition.

I would say that your composition of this image is one of the stronger elements. The curve of the road, and your focal subjects, the trees ... all work very well together.

Caveats? Hmm ... perhaps if you had not cut off the main trees' upper limbs ... it would have elevated this one, that little bit more. I happen to be a big fan of trees and that is a great specimen.

I did have the thought that perhaps it was the cast of a light source that produced this colour. Now, from your narrative I know better.

I am not sure what the original looked like, or for that matter the time of day that you took this one ... as it surely appears to be a night time shot to this viewer. Perhaps, that was your goal? The manipulation you did here has added another dimension, another element ... so, either way ... mission accomplished.

Nice work. :o)

What a great post. I just stumbled across your gallery and like your stuff very much. Any danger of more posts any time soon?
