I suspect the background isnt natural but it is something rather special. It looks like quality old leather. Hey the flower is pretty good too, I Like the colours and textures.

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them thats important.

to clear some confusion, yes the flower is an Iris.. some friends of mine have called it a Louisiana Iris.. we get them in quite a few colors here.. yellow (most common), maroon, a couple shades of purple, and even black..

It is, I believe, a beardless iris. Very nice capture, colors are lovely, and focus is superb. I like the framing also. Well done :)
