I had an idea for the contest at 5a.m. and this was the result. Just something simple. I used Phil's Skipton Park and Pierre's Springtime 3. Enjoy.

Great saturated colors combined with black and white...I like it. The sky is well done, too: filtered to bring out all the detail. Oh yeah...and lightning, too. Sort of eerie looking. Good luck.

really cool.. only problem i have is the pixelation on the lightning bolt.. takes away from the realism. love the colors though.. nice job ;]

If you admire nature for its creations why don't you visit the gallery of its reporter...
I like the high contrast between the sky and ground...the yellow especially looks good. Sometimes the best work comes out late at night. Very nice manipulation.

Looks cool in small thumbnail. but the lightning bold doesn't look realistic. to be honests. cool idea though. the clouds are awesome.

I'm uploading my photography on deviantart.com as well so you'll start seeing some of my same stuff on that site aswell. If I think people like it enough, i might buy a subscription and sell my artwork on it.
I love your use of both these images, using Skippington parks tree line in sillhouette and letting that lonely tree from Springtime stand alone. Great play with light and color

I really like this one! Nice colors and a magical mood to it.That was a good touch with the lightening striking the pretty yellow tree. Excellent job!!

Very good job merging those two pictures and greatly enhancing the atmosphere. However, I think the lightning doesn't go well with the picture. It seems a little fake and just doesn't impress me. However, that is a very small part and could easily be removed. Also, it's just simply my opinion.

I like the image but the ending of the lightning looks like it was done in a early 1990s photoshop

This is an awesome piece. The only thing I would say needs a little work is the lightning. Everything else looks so real. Maybe you should branch it off or add some different color, like a pink or purple to the white. Other than that I would say it's great.
