This was taken at Venetian Gardens Park in central florida. I thought she was a real beauty. Not sure what species though. Any suggestions on how I could enhance this photo would be appreciated. Thanks for looking!

Whadda crazy cool lookin' bird!! Sensational colorings and dy-no-mite details!! Perhaps a little crop 'n' chop to get rid of some of the ground and then maybe a little frame or sumpin' would enhance the capture??

Hi Carol! You've got a Purple Gallinule there :)

I agree with a crop, leave more empty space to the right of the bird, crop closer to his tailfeathers and also a crop up from the bottom. Perhaps something along the lines of this. I'm not sure if you have Photoshop, but a slight curves adjustment might help a bit (I adjusted a bit in the link above). Seems you were shooting in harsh noonday light.
