I plant fennel each year just for these amazing little creatures. They make captivating subjects for macro photography.

Beautiful color and detail. The fennel as such would make a pleasing image too. Nicely presented.

There can't be too many people around who plant things just for the caterpillars. I applaud your dedication, and your excellent photography!

Oh, I am so pleased that I stayed on just that little bit longer ... I found this image of yours. I was, literally, just about to logout ...

Wow. And wow.
I so impressed with the quality of this image.

Unfortunately, I am at a loss for descriptors. Just ... wow.

Ok, colours ... love them ... composition ... incredible. Really really nice. A true treasure of a find for me ... love when that happens ... thanks.

Great!
It's the catarpillar of the Swallowtail. Love it. It's a beautiful butterfly you can also find on the green part of carrots.

These bugs are beautiful and they are lucky that you care so much about them. Their colors are brilliant and I loike the chunkiness of the bugs against the delicateness of the fennel. I'm amazed that they aren't so fat that they fall off.

A great macro. Too bad they want to eat everything instead of what you plant for them.

I really like this, the quality and the clarity is outstanding. The only thing I see in this Gem of a capture that I don't like is that bright spot(almost like a glare) on the bottom, but that may of been unavoidable. Overall it is still a awesome capture. Very well done!!

I just realized I have commented on this before......lol However it was way to short.
