Lovely closeup. Just the right depth of field to keep the butterfly nice and sharp and the background blurred enough not to be distracting.

They should call that a Zebra butterfly. Love the detail on the body of this insect. How striking. Good clear capture. I'll add him (her) to my collection. Thks for contributing. Sheesh, upon second look, the detail on the leaf is a knockout as well. How did you get that close? Goooooooood work.

I can't afford a camera. The only camera I have now is a 1.3 megapixel cell phone camera which really sucks. When I finally am able to buy a proper camera, look out cuz Caedes, here I come!! For now though, I'll just learn from the gurus here *blush*

Butterflies might be my second favorite in nature. Don't know for sure. Is hard to make a choice when their is so much beauty. Thanks for the photo!! Great Shot!!
