It's beautiful. I can't decide if I like the image or the reflection the most. The image is a superb capture but the reflection looks like a Claude Monet painting; and, since I'm a big fan of Monet's work, I'll go with the reflection:) Well done.
It's always a little sad when the leaves fade and fall but what you have remaining yet is beautifully reflected in the water and the dark tree trunks also add to its' striking appeal...nice job.:Pat.
This is a truly spectacular scene Tracy. On my screen it looks washed out. That may just be my monitor. If not, maybe a little tweaking of the gamma in PS would add some saturation and depth. Beautiful image though. anne :-)
Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
I'm amazed that I haven't seen this one in the more than 4 years it's been in Caedes and also in how well it compares (IMO) to more modern DSLR photos (from more advanced cameras), and in that c-index (it appears people didn't know how to vote even back then - this deserves to be in the upper 80s, easily). Some might consider it too bright but I see that extra light as creating a scene an impressionist painter from a couple hundred years ago would be proud to call his own. And that reflection is incredible. This one is realism and abstract at the same time. I'm snagging a copy to add to my personal "water" screen saver, about 275 images that all have to do with water. A belated "Hurrah" and thank you for sharing it. Faved and saved.
