The beautiful Montauk, Long Island beaches are abandoned for the season :(
I thought the flow of this composition was interesting.
These wrinkled and broken strata are the oldest formations of the Yosemite region. They were formed in the sea on deposits of mud, sand and other material. Folding, breaking and change in texture resulted from movements which formed the original Sierra range, now largely worn away.
Just takes your breath away!
Just mountains as far as your eye could see.
This picture was taken of me in Venice, Fla :)
Certainly never thirsty due to the steady mist from the falls. I chose this one for the "trees" contest. Seemed a mystical place.

9.8 in gymnastics! LOL
The Grizzly Giant is one of the largest trees in the Mariposa Grove and, at an estimated age of 2,700 years, one of the oldest living Sequoias. As you wanter around its base, look up. That huge limb on the south side is almost seven feet (2 meters) in diameter, and that mere branch is larger than the trunk of any non-Sequoia in the grove!
Each tree has its own personality. Awesome to behold.
Beautiful shades on a magnificent mountain lake.
Truly inspirational!
Misty, Foggy Day that created some stunning results!

A serene ride home for a change!
