This is the third one of my series 'Dahlia Show'.
For some details, please checkout the narrative of this post.
It's my Foofy Friday entry for this week.
This image was taken at the same day and same place as this one. The difference is that the 'Shtandart' is captured now from the stern position.
This image was recently taken in the sand dunes of the most western part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands. The beach is almost empty again, indicating that the summer season is over here.
Referring to the narrative of this one, yesterday (night) I was able to be 'back in town' (to go out for a photo shoot again). Although my feet are sored now, think that it was worth my effort.
Image was taking at the sea front of Flushing, a town in Zeeland, The Netherlands. Please enjoy!
About 7 years ago I've posted a rather similar image. As there was 'some' progression in the by me used editing possibilities (an improved version of the Adobe Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in - version 8.5.0.236), I think it's time for a renewed acquaintance of those deer with the (new) Caedes-friends (since then).
This image was captured at a forest edge on the northern part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands.
This Foofy Friday contribution was captured yesterday in my garden.
When compared with this one, you'll see that there was some 'progression' in my bike tour around the Walcheren (Zeeland, The Netherlands) coast, as I've reached the sea side of these sand dunes. On the left side of this image (at about the 'ten o'clock position) you can see the red roofs of the village shown in my above mentioned post too.
I've peeked through my 'maritime bin' and saw that this, in August 2013 taken, image never was uploaded. I upload it in order to prevent that the Kruzenshtern would disappear ingloriously (in a figurative way of course, lol).
It was a cold night on the Lake Of Veere, Zeeland, The Netherlands. Because of the relative warm water there was some vapor over the lake. In the distance one can see the village of Vrouwenpolder and its beach at the lake side (Vrouwenpolder has several beaches on the North Sea side as well). Perhaps you can see at full screen size the huts on the beach for changing the normal clothes to swimsuits in the summertime.
Yesterday I have promised you to provide a detailed image of THIS ONE.
This (simple?) image was taken recently on the Lake Of Veere (Zeeland, The Netherlands) and shows the tiny town of Veere, partly hidden in the mist close to sunset. Think it was a pretty rare opportunity to capture this phenomenon.
This action shot was captured off the coast of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands. It shows the Belgian Pilot vessel 'Ravelingen' taking a shower for free.
After the Christmas- and New Years break, I resume my Caedes activity by posting this Foofy Friday image.
Edit: this is probably the Medinilla (probably the 'Magnifa' variant). The islands and peninsulas of the province of Zeeland, The Netherlands, are surrounded by sea or artificial lakes (former sea). One of them is the Lake of Veere, a 22 kilometers long artificial lagoon, situated between the peninsula's of North- and South-Beveland and Walcheren. This image of the Lake of Veere was captured yesterday (Sunday, October 5th 2014).

This image was captured on one of the south-west beaches of Flushing, Zeeland, The Netherlands. It was taken on July 24th, 2014. It was a very hot day and at 09.40 PM (the time that I took this image) it was still hot. Think therefore the kids got permission of their parents to continue their playing on the beach, the more they had vacation too. It was a unique opportunity for me to capture the activities for both children and parents while the sun was going down.
Because I prefer to have a variety of images in my gallery, I didn't uploaded this one up till now. Thought however that this one doesn't belong in the bin forever. Hope you'll agree with me and please enjoy it. Thanks in advance for your comment.
This sunset image was taken in a 'polder' on the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands. I was struck by its beauty and composition.
Hope you'll agree with me. Thank you in advance for your comment.
Yesterday I took some pictures of 'People in the air' again. Think therefore it's a good opportunity to resume this series with some new images.
This plane got really my attention. It's the Antonov An-2 designed by the Ukrainian Antonov Aeronautical Scientific-Technical Complex (Antonov ASTC). The AN-2 flew for the first time on August 31, 1947. The An-2 remained in production until 1991. This plane, registered as 'DM-SKL' now, was noted first in service on May 10, 1958. The aircraft is owned now by the German 'Classic Wings'.
This is my entry for the 'history' contest.
Hope you'll like it. Thanks in advance for your comment.
This is my entry for the 'Rainy Day' contest.
I suppose that I don't tell you a secret when I say that, to me and probably to you as well, rainy days are not my favorite days for taking pictures. I usually decide to delay a photo shoot till the weather has cleared up. On the day that I took this picture, I had left my home with very reasonable weather, but once I had arrived on my photo shoot destination (somewhere in Middelburg, Zeeland, The Netherlands), I had to cancel the planned photo shoot because the rain started pouring down at once. When the raining has stopped briefly, I left my 'shelter' and took quickly some pictures (blood is thicker than water, isn't it?). The result is that I'm able now to enter the contest with a rather proper entry. I realize that you prefer sunnier images, but than we must have chosen for another contest topic, lol.
Hope however that you'll like this one. Thanks in advance for your comment.
This is my F² (Foofy Friday) contribution for this week.

Second one in this series. Think that the title speaks for itself.
Hope that you'll enjoy this one as well. Thanks in advance for your comment.
