This is shot from the Western shore, on the North face of the bridge.
That island in the middle... I think it's from when it was struck by of ship... I think, they had to move it because of debris, but I'm not sure, and wiki isn't telling me...
Wait!! It's from the floating arch bridge from when they were building the bridge!!! hooray!
My entry to the Symmetry contest, Neodymium magnets, the strongest permanent magnetic metal (I think), they are imperfect, but to me laid out always seem very symmetrical. ISO-100 f/10 1/10 sec.
This is by no means a spectacular photo. DOF too shallow I think, but lady bugs are cool, especially when I find them on me. f/2.8 1/400 sec ISO-400
The Botanical Gardens
Taken at the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens. Tulips are beautiful. Canon 400D and a Canon EF-S 60mm Macro Lens. f/2.8 1/2000 ISO 400. The only Photoshop filter I used was sharpen and to resize it to 3200. So I'm very happy with it.
