Sony have announced a global recall on eight of it’s cyber-shot models. it’s a problem relating to the sensor and screen. The recall applies to models sold worldwide between September 2003 and January 2005. Free repairs will be offered only to cameras that show signs of the problems.
The recall applies to models DSC-F88, DSC-M1, DSC-T1, DSC-T11, DSC-T3, DSC-T33, DSC-U40 and DSC-U50, so if you think your camera comes under this recall, you should contact your local Sony repair centre.
