I posted a thread requesting advice on selling prints earlier, and I'm now looking for some more information if possible.
I've been around a few local shops and found at least one or two where I think I can improve on the quality of the photography on offer. I'd like to prepare some prints for taking around, and it's this I'd like some advice on.
What's the best way to have digital photos printed and prepared for this kind of sale? Should certain inks or papers be used for permanence? Are there likely to be local print houses/photo shops that will offer a suitable service? How should the prints be mounted for presentation, just mounted ready for framing? or on a backing only?
