I was looking at entering a competition held at a library near where i live, but after looking through the terms and conditions it might not be such a great idea
* For a period of ten years from the date of submission the entrant licenses the State Library of Western Australia to use the entrant’s photograph(s) to promote this competition and for research and other non-commercial purposes.
* Ten years after the date of submission the entrant hereby transfers ownership of copyright in his/her photograph(s) to the State Library of Western Australia for the balance of the copyright term. The entrant will have a non exclusive license to use their photograph(s) in any way they wish.
Would anyone here be able to help? especially with the meaning of a non exclusive license?
if anyones interested the competition page is here.
