How many people calibrate their monitors? In the caedes.net gallery and the comments I notice many people think some of my (and others') photos are too bright or have low contrast or bad colour saturation while I find a lot of other photos too dark. Many of them belong to said people. Could it be that I calibrated my monitor wrong (I followed instructions on a site I can't find right now) or do most people simply not calibrate their monitors at all?

Btw, in my experience most LCDs are way too bright and need negative gamma correction, but I may be wrong...
