I don't care about the video but I do like the 19-point Autofocus system and 18 megapixels along with the 8 fps for BIF photos. At $1,699 body only it seems to me to be the replacemant for the 50D. I may upgrade after it is released at the end of the month and see how the reviews go. http://www.dpreview.com/news/
