As I've scoured through the bounty of photos that Caedes has on display, I've come to a conclusion. There is quite a goodly pool of talented shutterbugs here and consequently there are some gorgeous photos to be seen. I also don't want to leave out the amazing computer artists and their wonderful pieces. The flower photography is brilliant. marilynjane, neez, photobob, jacked, and photoimagery have contributed some truly stunning pics. (BTW, marilynjane, where do you live to get so many great flower shots. Do you reside in a glasshouse? =) ) There's a million fantastic sunsets, scads of majestic mountains, stacks of ethereal computer generated works, and of course I can't ignore the slushy heap of effusive puppy and kitty photos. =)
However, there is one thing that seems to be lacking. I'll put my answer in the form of a question (Alex Trebek eat your heart out). Where are all the people? It is my opinion that there is no more interesting of a subject to be photographed than humans, and I know I'm not alone in that belief. Dear photographers: Do the humans in your life dematerialize as soon as you begin handling a loaded camera? =P
In short, may I request more people pictures? Faces, elbows, feet, ears, singles, couples, groups, crowds, mobs, pretty, ugly, young, old, smiling, laughing, crying, running, walking, sitting... whatever. Lets here it for homo sapien sapiens! (and yes, its suppposed to be 'sapien sapiens', not just a single 'sapien')
BTW, I forsee that I could be labeled as a hypocrite for not uploading any shots of people. Listen, when I get a camera, I'll contribute. Rumor has it that cameras cost money... which is a substance that I'm not very familiar with right now. =P I'm looking into a good digital camera and/or a Leica M7, neither of which will magically appear at my command. Actually I have a 30 year old Russian Zenith camera, but... welllll, I'd rather have a digital camera first so I can hone my skills without worrying about paying 20 bucks a pop to develop a role of film. ANYway, I'm digressing too far.
In closing, I'll reiterate my request. Let's see more people, please.

Thanks for listening and thanks in advance.
