So, Ive been playing Spiritborn a lot in Diablo 4 and honestly, Nesekem the Herald has been a huge disappointment for me. I get why it looks good on paper the stats are insane: +400% damage to elites, +200 to all stats, and all that crit and overpower damage boost. But the problem is, its only for Spiritborn and that really limits how you can use it.
The unique thing about Nesekem is it randomly marks enemies every 2 seconds, making your hits guaranteed crits and overpower. Sounds awesome, right? But in practice, it feels pretty random and sometimes unreliable because you cant control which enemy gets marked. Plus, once you hit that enemy 10 times, the mark disappears and you gotta wait for another one.
What really kills it though is that there are better Spiritborn weapons like Rod of Kepeleke and Wushe Nak Pa. These weapons just fit Spiritborn builds way beNesekem the Herald Why I Think Its the Worst Mythictter and give more consistent damage and stats. So I found myself ditching Nesekem most of the time.
I wouldnt say Nesekem is bad, just that its kind of overshadowed by other gear and isnt as versatile. If you want something steady and strong for Spiritborn, there are better options. You can learn more about it now at https://www.u4gm.com.
