This night-shot was taken on December 7th, 2019 in Amsterdam, the capital of my small country (The Netherlands) on the occasion of the light festival, edition # 8 there (version 2019/2020 with the central theme 'Disrupt!').

There are 20 artworks shown on this festival. This one, called 'The Ice Is Melting At The P0ules' was created by the Danish artist Martin Ersted.

Information/description provided by the festival committee: The new and sometimes beautiful graphs created to display climate change data were the inspiration for Ersted's projection on The National Maritime Museum. By combining hard, scientific facts ans intense laser lights, Ersted generates a performance that is simultaneously confronting and poetic.

Owd Fella Tick (OFT) said in his comment on THIS ONE: "I like the lighting SEA, but I don't really understand 'The Ice Is Melting' theme. Unless it is the light on the building."
