Ok, so has anyone watched Heroes?? Kick*ss show. The thing I love about it...besides the suspense, cliffhangers and other things that keep me drooling for the next episode...is the artwork in it. For those of you who haven't seen the show, a character in it is an artist who paints the future...anyway the artwork is really cool...and reminds me of ...ahh crap, just had a brain fart, can't think of the artist's name...anyways...its very comic book looking. So anyhow, the point of this thread is...
1- to discuss the artwork, and the use of it
2- to discuss any theories about the show/characters

I just watched episode 18 last night on NBC.com. Apart from the irritating breaks where commercials would have been it was so cool ! Poor Mohindar !!!

I am typing w/my eyes closed because I can't watch the final episode for @ least 10-14 more days til A1 gets here. Silly me threatened him that he wasn't allowed to watch since he wasn't avail to watch w/me last nite, and told him we'd watch it when he got here.

The next day I attempted to renege and say I didn't know if I could wait that long and got back "EXCUSE ME... YOU THREATENED ME WITH EXPLICIT PHYSICAL VIOLENCE". That being true… um… I gotta take my punishment and wait now. <sigh>

What's a real shame is that they took Season 1 off the NBC or whatever site since the DVD came out. I think I'm going to hit my kids up for an early Christmas present so I can watch Season 1 all over again & get even more psyched up !!!

That's Molly Walker.

Molly was the little girl he found hiding in the closet after her parents were killed during the 1st episode. Turns out Molly has a talent too, give her the name of anyone in the world, and she can find them just by thinking about them. She showed up again in the last 2 episodes of the 1st season.

and OMG. HOLY CHIT! Nightmare man is Parker's DAD? and um… there were @ least 4 other people in that photo, can we get a lil bkgd on them too plz? Before I go nuts? 8•P

Sorry for reviving this but I gotta know, did anybody other than me think it ended too abruptly & was a little lame this year ?

Yeah...they dragged on the Hiro in Japan of yesteryear story too long. The twins were thrown in, and frankly, I never quite got that story line. I'll be pissed if Nikki is dead. Peter is annoying me with his stupidity. I want to B-slap Surresh...and even Claire got uber-whiny!! I love Heroes, and am hoping that Season three gets back the edge-of-seat, pee-your-pants intensity that Season 1 had.

Actually, the 1st season really built the same way - and then started to speed up towards the end, juggling storylines so that one was always moving forward faster than others.

The ending however - was not how it was supposed to end. It was a rush hurry up pasted together job to end it before the writer's strike so it wouldn't be left hanging forever.

I just never got the twin girl's power... what ? she killed with oil ? And I would've liked to have seen Adam as the bad guy a bit more though Hiro's solution was cool.

I'll be royally ticked if Season 3 is like Season 2.

All I got from the twins was this yin yang thing. He was the posi to her neg. But he's dead now...oh and coming from a mom with twins...SHE WOULD HAVE KNOWN HER BRO WAS KILLED!!! One day Rachel was down the street playing with her friend, Robbie was inside on the xbox...all of a sudden he dropped the controller and ran out the door...we hurried after him (totally confused), he said Rachel got hurt...and sure enough when we got to her girlfriends house, Rachel indeed had been hurt. So don't friggin tell me Death Twin had no clue about the death of her Life Twin!!!!!

Yeah, after watching this season's premier of Heroes I'm starting to doubt it'll be very good... I think they need to stop introducing more characters for a while.

The first season was amazing, lost many fingernails during season 1. Season 2 started out well enough then fizzled. Season 3 promises twists and turns, but so far I am not seeing it. Ok so Sylar may be a Petrelli, and Linderman is a ghosty of some sort, but where or where is the edge of your seat, nail-biting ass kicking scenes we loved in season 1?? Oh, and is this new chick just another Nikki personality or some doppleganger? Oh...enough with Claire's whining...poor me, I don't feel alive, and wtf was the doc thinking injecting himself with the dna mix...he always had jackass tendencies, but the season 3 opener...I wanted to gag.

And Sylar is now practically invincible so that means peter should also be i think. Any way it will get more interesting, i think

Well, I have to say I think the season's getting better...
Of course, the good guys are pretty much indistinguishable from the bad guys... Pretty sure Sylar's one of the "Good Guys", according to Peter he saved his life. I've pretty much lost all hope for Mohinder, so far in this season I've laughed at him more than anything else...

sylar being possibly good is a nice treat this season...the big baddie is actually a goody...intriguing. i hope his power is like crack...he cleans up, makes good, then falls off the wagon and starts cutting open heads!!!

i'd like to see nikki's kid again...maybe fixing the election and instead of obama, mccain or petrelli...ando becomes president (yay ballsy no super-powered people)...and speaking of nikki's kin, did the neice just up and disappear? She had some cool potential...anything she sees she can duplicate...

Well, This week's show kind of cleared up some things about the Petrelli's... about Mr. Petrelli's "death" and such.

I'm not a huge fan of the flashback sort of episodes though.

Well, here's the scoop kids... the first episode was kind of ehh, for me so I haven't bothered watching anymore. Though I have them all taped. So, should I bother ? I mean last year was such a bad year as far as I'm concerned, especially compared to year one.

So what's the general opinion ?

Not quite as good as season one, but not a barker like season two...I'd watch...there are some interesting plot twists.

I wasn't that turned off by Season 2. Perhaps because I understood that it was never intended to end that way, it just was forced to develop and move in a different way cuz of the writer's strike.

This season is seriously starting to get on my nerves however. I've realized that a large part of that is things are becoming *too* coincidental. There are great moments, but I need to have not every single thing tied to every single other thing the way they are becoming. Some things really really can just be standalone events and will work *much* better that way.

Also, I miss the feeling that this is happening as the rest of the world moves on and functions as it always has. You know - newspaper headlines, watching ordinary people react to events, etc. alongside the rest of this.

I agree, it seems like every person you ever see during the show now is either a hero or a villain. Where have the regular people gone?

And it doesn't matter how many times someone is killed, they always come back in either 3 episodes or the next season... can't blink an eye while watching that show, you'll be lost again and you have to re-watch all of the previous seasons and shows. Kinda pisses me off. :)

Here's a thought...
The Haitian CAN cancel out Papa Petrelli's powers. Papa Petrelli now has Peter's powers as well as Adam's...so he cannot die, and if ALL of Peter's adopted powers went when Papa Petrelli took them, then he cannot be killed, AND has many dangerous powers. He also took the twin chicky's powers to kill.
SO...
Only the Haitian can cancel Papa Petrelli's powers, but if he is in close enough range to do so, then Papa Petrelli having Peter's powers can take the Haitian power just by vicinity. So how to kill of Papa Petrelli? AND it appears poor Hiro is in deep poopoo, which will give Papa Petrelli the ability to go back in time BEFORE Angela poisons him...
MY CRAZY THEORY...
Ambush Papa Petrelli with a one two punch by unleashing the Haitian long enough so that someone can take Papa Petrelli's head off...then turn him into pieces and parts and bury them at different locations.
I think Angela Petrelli is dangerous, but Papa Petrelli wants to play God.
