I have a severe, chronic mental illness accompanied by brain damage. It's wonderful to have a site that I can use as a sanctuary. This site has such beautiful images, created by people who are very kind to me, and, needless to say, extremely talented.

Hi, Robert. I'm happy to hear that you've found some degree of recourse in your life here on Caedes.net. My background is in the Clinical Psych. field and I've known many who suffer from severe mental illness who have found great solace and paths for self-expression in the art world. It's a kind of blending of left and right brain, and provides avenues for growth and self-understanding to all of us that ordinary "reality" often doesn't. Thanks for sharing your views here.
