If you have a favorite car .. and, it isn't a Porsche .. you might find a picture of it @ dieselstation in a LARGE wallpaper dimension
and to make our south pacific members feel at home .. they even have the Holden Barina (and siblings) ... they have the Holden line because it isn't the Porsche line ... that, as it turns out, is the smartest move Holden made .. NOT slapping a Porsche logo on the side of their products ...
Because if they had you wouldn't find it on this website
Since you're asking I'll have a Porsche 997GT3RS, in orange, thanks very much. Forget Dieselstation, I use - Netcarshow & Serious Wheels, addies below -
they say that Mad Max drove a Holden .. when Jaq mentioned she had a Barina in her garage I was picturing a BIG BOAT of a car .. not what it turned out to be
maybe I will take her up on her offer to sell it to me for $5 including shipping
I'm with Uncle Phil on this one...the Holden rocks my boat...all day, all night!!
This one screams..."baby's got back", all over it!! And, to those of you who know me not, I'm an a$$ man!!
Small grill, BIG trunk work well for Rocker!!
I also really like the BRABUS-CLS !! Maybe 'cause it has the term "BRA" in it, I can also totally see me and K-Dawg rollin' down to the local ice cream parlor in it to pick up a double scoop of the sweet stuff!!
HEY... WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY BARINA????? hmmmmm.. lmao...
So as my little baby seems to be the centre of the talk here.. it's a good little car.. goes places big ones can't.. I can zip into little parking spaces, doesnt use as much gas as the bigger ones, mine's a 5 door 5 speed and can zip around... and if i get locked out the house I can put the back seat down and snooze in there... (it even got hit by a kangaroo and its still going.. umm the car that is.. not the roo)
And King sniff-n-find.. my baby isnt for sale... well unless you got a very very good offer then I might consider it

hahaha.. no.. i was driving near my parents at dusk.. it has bush on both sides of the road.. it just decided to cross the road into the front side of my car (they do that sometimes)
Yes I know its a shocking experience, I have been in cars several times that have hit roos (never as the driver though, which would make it much more frightening I imagine). They make such a loud noise. I think the best you can hope for in those events is that the animal is killed instantly and doesn't have to suffer...
how come nobody wishes the people are killed instantly so they don't have to experience repair shops and insurance claims .... and .. razzing from their friends
And we have kinda sorta the same deal here, I'm telling you, you hit a buck in his prime & your car sustains major damage. Doesn't do much for the deer either.
Always remember to check for joeys too. Once on the way to school the bus stopped at a dead kangaroo and there was a very young joey in the pouch... fortunately we had a kid who had already raised a joey so they were able to take it home. I can't recall but I guess someone with very good eyes must have somehow noticed the lump in the pouch as we drove by.

They are talking about aussie animals because some how my little Barina is the centre of attention... lol.. and it got hit by a kangaroo... hence the animal talk..
Well, I go for muscle cars...something with a Hemi...fast, gas guzzling, and if it hits a roo (which here in Fresno would be something indeed!!) the car would be just fine, and the poor roo would definately be roadkill. So that said, I am partial to a Hemi Cuda...but I'd also take a Charger, or GTO, or Nova SS, or Camaro (67 please), or a Stingray (63 please), and lets not leave out the oh-so-brilliant Carroll Shelby...so the Cobra would be nice...I am not only fluent in MOPAR, but I can speak BOSS pretty well too...as in a classic Pony Car (67 fastback please) or the GT500...
But I think you get the picture. My dad is a mechanic, so I was pretty much a grease-monkey from birth...when I was 16, I got a 1970 Dodge Dart which my dad and I restored, then I turned around and got 8 or 9 tickets with before I was 18...it was fast, and pretty, and had the great rumble grumble purr that only a muscle car has.
