Site Maintenance

For the last two days when I have tried to upload images I have recieved the messgae that the site is down for maintenance. This would be fine, I accept that to run a site as exceptionally good as this it requires the occassional time out for work to be done but it would seem that plenty of other people have no trouble uploading as new images are still regularly appearing. Could somebody please explain what is happening? Has my beloved Caedes turned against me? Cheers, Kelcey.

Have you tried emptying your cache? It's possible your browser has simply saved that page in it's cache and isn't loading the current (woriking) page.

Either your ISP or web browser is caching the maintenance page and not re-requesting the updated version. Try clearing your browser's cache. I will look into the issue further to make sure it is not my fault.

In addition, if it happens again, try hitting F5. It will reload the page without any history attached. I'm on AOL and have had the same thing happen several times. Hitting F5 on my keyboard does the trick. Wen

F5 only refreshes the page, not the cache right?

I think it just depends on what the browser feels like doing at the time. =\
