Is it possible to disallow posts which have over a certain number of characters without any spaces (ie that will stretch the page)? Around 50 or so would do it.
Hi,my name is Rob..ok, so I'm not the greatest at replies and comments. Sorry. For anyone needing to contact me, my email is back up in my profile. >> my cluttered mess of a gallery
I've tried to do this before, but it quickly became clear that this is not as easy a task as it first seems. In particular, URLs are often longer than any arbitrarily chosen length and must not have spaces put in them willy-nilly. This is not to say that it can't be done, it will just have to be more thouroughly tested than earlier attempts.
perhaps having URLS with an http: in front could be encapsulated into a (link) ... that would, maybe, free you up to handle any other occurance more aggressively
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

okay... I may be talking out of my rear here... but is it possible to make the comment box here itself a fixed width, thereby limiting the number of characters to the current box width?
