Hello fellow caedes members !
I was just wondering how you came here, where did you find the url.
The site is not adverticed to much, speaking for myself, i found the site via a BBC computer program series, and they did highlighted some sites, amongst 5 was caedes.
A close friend was at our house and said we had to check out this website that he was posting pictures on and that there were people from all over the world posting. So he gave us the address & the rest is history as they say. I didn't even own a camera at that time. On Feb. 14 it will be 3 years for me!!!! YEA!!
Er... can't remember. I don't think it made much impression at the time, but I collect links "in case I want them later" and then can never find them. This somehow emerged from the swamp that is my bookmark collection at some point...
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Hi,my name is Rob..ok, so I'm not the greatest at replies and comments. Sorry. For anyone needing to contact me, my email is back up in my profile. >> my cluttered mess of a gallery
An e-mail from Kim Komando a computer "guru" on national radio. She mentioned Caedes as a great wallpaper website and provided a link. I'm seriously thinking of taking legal action against her for introducing me to what has become an addiction. :o)
Please know that I enjoy your work even though I don't always get to comment. I try to look at (and enjoy) all your new posts and always appreciate the time you take to stop in at my gallery as well. Have a happy day ;) Anita
Merely stumbled upon our beloved site during a search for some wallpapers.
Thought it was about time that I fixed the place up a bit, I was ... was just going to paint ... but, as a result of allll of the excellent work here ...
Added an addition and refurnished the whole place. :o)
I was doing my annual wallpapers search. I enjoyed the images and the quality of them, and them some dingbat sent me a link to the offtopic threads. Boy do they ever regret that! 8•P
Well you are not going to believe this one, but it is true. I was searching for a cake recipe for Valenetines Day a year ago. My typing is very poor & I usually have to correct my spelling quite often. I typed in "caekes.net" by mistake. I was hoping I would come up with a site that had only cake recipes. My browser asked if I was searching for Caedes.net & thought why not check it out. Well here I am one year later.
Ahhhhh Les ... the corner pieces are reserved for you.
I ended up using my "green martian" cake recipe, substituting the lime jello with cherry. Honestly when I found this site ... I was totally immersed in it for several days.
Back in '04 I visited a really beautiful place and took some photos. A few friends commented on how much they liked them and suggested I publish them. My ego led me to search for a place to distribute them, and I found Caedes. My stupidity led me to butcher the originals using a paint program. The friendly people here encouraged me and gave me good advice about future work which I took to heart. Most everything I've learned I learned from you wonderful people.

This is the only place where I can find my images. A few years ago, I wrote 'ppigeon' on Google and I found caedes.net and my gallery. Very nice, isn't it? ;-)
