I have started seeing some widescreen images on this site. We can upload those now, right? What are the common sizes?

DSLR are taking photos with 3/2 ratio instead of 4/3. I uploaded my last image with 1600x1067 size, without problem :-) Link

but thats because you are one of those freaky Olympus pixies :-)

I'd noticed that recent models of compact cams now you let select aspect ratios at will with various options but also variable resolutions when you switch.

My old Dimage A2 (2 years "old"...) had a 3:2 format. The last Panasonic Lumix too.

Yes - I think all the Lumix cams let you switch crops now from what I remember.

you can upload any size you want within the sizes Noah already mentioned.
