Hmmmm: one V-Day, long, long ago.....my EX stopped and picked up flowers for me....{ just so he could flirt with the girl selling flowers on the corner!-hahahaha}{SERIOUSLY!}

The sweetest thing EVER....is my two little kids all week making little heart drawings and cut-outs and giving them to me with little kissies that go along with them.....

Well, let's see... ummm... nothing really stick out. *perturbed look*

With my birthday so close, they kind of merge together... hehe

I'll have to think on this one. :o)

Well, this is my first Valentines when I'm actually with somebody, so I can't really say anything yet... I'm not seeing him today, but I'm going to his tomorrow, so I shall tell all then.

*muahahahahaha*

The sweetest Valentine's Day surprise I received was a few years back... my hubby had to work late, and we had to cancel our dinner plans. When I arrived at home, there was a brown paper lunch bag on the counter that he scribbled "I love you" on... and "I'm sorry for messing up our plans."

When I opened it, it was FULL of Dove X's & O's... delicious! So I eagerly reached into the bag, when I felt something odd. There was a box inside, wrapped in red & white heart paper. When I opened it, there was a gorgeous gold sweetheart bracelet (X's & O's). I was so happy!

I thought that was it. But then as I wandered about the house, I started finding little post-it love notes everywhere... in the shower, under my pillow, in the fridge... it was so entertaining!

Needless to say, hubby got his amazing present when he got home that night... and all weekend to follow. >;)

Well, after going out with this guy for 1 1/2 years (who is now my husband) ... I gave him a Valentine's card three days early & wrote in it, " No need to spend money on flowers & candy this Valentines Day ... something creative & from the heart would be nice. After dropping hint's for a couple days ... like ... don't you think the birthstone in my ring is sparkly, etc. I finally recieved a homemade Valentine's card with a note in it thanking me for saving him alot of money & that I was a great girlfriend. Now he could spend the money on something useful. As the story goes ... 2 weeks & 1 day later ... he got down on one knee & proposed to me (well you know what my answer was). The best thing is we got to celebrate Valentine's Day all over again. Now all I get is a kiss & a hug for V-Day & that is all I need. Oh & we have been married for 22 1/2 years. HAPPY VALENTINE"S DAY EVERYONE ... X's & O's to you all.
