For a long time, I try to promote portraits on caedes.net. I posted a new series to throw back this kind of photos. What do you think about a 'Photography->Portrait' gallery?

You know my feelings on it. I think it would be a great idea. and I feel it would also be great to see alot more self potrait on the site. That lets us all know who we have been texting back and forth for so long.

Sam: I think that pictures like Street life or Dutch Bikers are true 'People'. But photos like being a kid or Old Time Hollywood are totally different... No?

I just commented the same @ Old Time Hollywood image.
Every image here at the site,became bit by bit more than a background.They became more like "efforts","Art Efforts";portraits are the most neutral and natural art of all times.At painting or at sculpting even at Digital Arts.
This site is based,constructed on the efforts,sacrifices of people who wanted to share art in any way.Share friendship in any way.And this site deserves more attention and effort on neutral,more photo based works just like others do.
I am not very experienced on photographing but i did my best with TeamGerman and Cem,and i will keep on when i get my new machine... ; )

never noticed this discussion, agree that there is a clear difference between People, and Person(portrait), and Self. ;-)
