I've only been a member of the Cadre for a short time. But in this time i've never met or seen so many talented and nicer people on one site. Heck, you could go to 20 wallpaper sites and never find as many quality downloads as there are here on Caedes. I think there should be a new Gallery Intitled Caedes "Hall of Frames", to honor the best work ever dislayed on Caedes. This would certainly give Caedes a distinction that no other site has . Might I say well deserved.

Hi,my name is Rob..ok, so I'm not the greatest at replies and comments. Sorry. For anyone needing to contact me, my email is back up in my profile. >> my cluttered mess of a gallery
But if you want to look for the highest ranked c-index (and highly contested... take it how you want to ;) ) that can be done easily by using the drop down box at the bottom of a gallery page.

we kind of had a system like that before in the rankings rating but that just became so devisive it got scary - i'd imagine the same would happen with this. there is enough hassle as it is now with various cliques trying to big each other up :-)

in days of olde, there was a gallery of artists .. while I wasn't involved in the creation of the mathematical formula for the content sortation ... :o) ... it somehow ranked artists based on c-index\views\posts\karma\downloads\breakfast cereal\shampoo preference
I went looking for my listing and had to hike out before the snows started
it's the sort of thing that you can do when you have 30 artists .. and no egos ... as the site grew and people began to question its sortation and its purpose .. it was scrapped
I don't think anybody was offended .. this is what we do here, we chatter back and forth in any thread available
