I wonder if someone could tell me why it is when I post some of the photos on my desktop that they become blurry? Not everyone's is that way, but some that appear totally clear when posted at caedes, are fine, and then I put them on my monitor and they blur. Any ideas? I am talking about people who generally post real sharp photos and fractals...this never used to happen, does it have anything to do with the new sizing we are able to post?
When you view an image on caedes.net and then download the image to your computer, the two images should be exactly the same. One possible reason for your problem could be that you are downloading a version of the image that is much smaller than your screen resolution. Your operating system is stretching the image to fit your screen and this is causing the blurriness.
Here's the other possibility (doubt it though):
Downsizing photos seem less sharp [aka, fuzzy/blurry] (from what i've seen). Say you take a large photo, sharpen it...it looks fine. Then you downsize it to 1/3rd the size and it doesnt look as sharp. So, you sharpen it again. *shrugs*
...or the aspect ratio of the photo you're making as a wallpaper isn't the same.
...or if it was like my latest upload, it just wasnt a sharp picture. =P
