Hi, Caedes is one of the best sites that I've been to aside from Webshots.
You can download as many wall papers as you want without having to pay for them.
Webshots has some great Desktop photos but you can only download 5 Desktop pictures a day. If you wanted to download more then you have to pay for it.
Since I don't want to pay for Desktop photos I think Caedes is the best place to download Desktop photos. These Abstract/fractal Desktop photos are absolutely beautiful.

I haven't been to webshots in a while, but the bonus on that site is the "desktop manager", or whatever it is called (sorry!). The point is that they had this wonderful thing you could download that would switch your background randomly on a set schedule to a selection of pictures of your choice. You could have it change your background every hour if you wanted! What I would do is make a folder, fill it with several hundred of my favorite images from caedes, and I would have great art all the time without repetition or boredom. Only do this if you have your own computer and it has plenty of space, my family got pretty ticked about the lack of hard disk :-)
