Votes, views, and dls

I know I'm not the most prolific or even near one of the best here, but I was wondering what a 'normal' vote, view and download count for most author's is mine seems low (but then again you couldn't view vote count until the control panel came online)...
the average of my recent dls has been roughly:
8 votes, 35 views, 15 dls
is this normal?...it always seemed that my older images moved up in the views and dls a lot quicker

I think that as per the various discussions, other people have commented on this. It seems that as we get more and more images posted, individual ones seem to get less attention than they used to. Once they've moved off the first page or two (quite rapidly nowadays) they just seem to disappear into a vacuum.

I have certainly found that my images are getting less votes and views than they used to.

it just seems to me the vote per view count should be higher...i mean if you take the time to view an image you should vote on it
