Dunno why, but I suddenly had the urge to post poetry on here..(sorry if it's kinda long)

Beggining and End of Bitterness

Forever you’ll be in my heart
Even though you broke it
Forever you’ll be in my mind
Even though you hurt me

I’ll hurt for you
And pray for you
Even though I’ll hate you
And loath you

Lying and cheating
Hurting and weeping
You
And me

Waves of time will keep going on
Constantly new things will wash up on life’s shores
Wether good or bad
Or from Heaven or Hell

Sometimes longing to have you back
But then the bitter anger hits me hard
Why you did these things I will not know
But what I know now..is your heart’s been shown

Hating you
Loving you
Seeing you
Killing you

I know not why
Nor do I know how
But I still have love for you
Underneath it all

How you can look me in the eyes
I do not know
But mine fill with hate
And bitter sorrow

When I see something reminding of you
I throw it away and go find something new
When I see your face in my dreams
I awake at night weeping and screaming

The love I have for you is bitter
But I can never forget when you were kind
And then I remember why it was
And now I hate you even more

Bitterness quells in me
Rising until it reaches the boiling point
Rising to the top and burning red
How could I forget those things

But then I remember life must go on
And that all my bitterness will eventually show
I must forgive all your wrongs
If not for you...then for myself

All of your lies of love and myth
While covering your true face
Just waiting for something devastating
And uncovering your mask..to reveal hate

I will fight you with all I am
The daily battle
To the end
I will not let you take control of me

Again, I say
Life must go on
I can’t hold to the bitter past
Or I’ll stay there forever

Letting go isn’t easy
Trust me I know
But sometimes..
All you can do is forgive

Bitterness..feel my wrath
I will not be controlled by you
Feel my sword
And die..leave my heart forever

I believe I have experienced your situation and feelings. I don't have any of my own at the moment, but it would be nice to see some more folks' poetry here~

Thank you Sam, that's more poetry than I can shake a stick at. I will have to check it out more when I'm not supposed to be studying :)

I didn't realize there was another poetry page lol, oh well, but I hope you enjoyed mine as well.
