Also remember that the "New Images" gallery only makes up a relatively small portion of the images on the site; so the distribution is really wieghted more in the direction of images that have made it to the permenant galleries (which naturally means it will have more high ratings than low ones).

I put limits on the influence of number of favorites and the view to download ratio. Now the user rating from voting is the largest factor.
