I was just wondering if anyone out there had any shots involving anything to do with waterpolo. I play the sport, and I know from some photographs that my school takes that you can really get some nice shots that I would love to have as a background.

it's not a big sport where I live .. you'd almost need to live in a college town ..

assuming that they are indoor events .. you'd need to cope with the artificial lights playing havoc with your color balance .. but a little practice or the right questions posed to the school staff photographers .. and you're all set

Hmm, well in California there are almost no indoor pools whatsoever, but it's not that it matters much considering I'm in the pool most of the time. And Pixleslie, only the truly savage partake in the joyous sport known as waterpolo.

So I've come to the decision that Caedes should have a general sports section

That's been suggested before. The reason it wasn't implemented was that there was a decision that there weren't enough purely "sports" images to warrant a separate gallery.

If it helps, I was one of the proponents for said gallery.

As with any proposed new gallery – at least two or three dozen varied images for the proposed gallery have to be already in existence elsewhere in the permanent galleries before one can be considered. A dedicated sports gallery would be tricky for a variety of reasons – one of which is many large sporting events don’t actually permit unlicensed photography or redistribution of images so it would be hard for moderators to approve the validity of the ownership of the pictures copyright. Does that make any sense?

Yeh, and I actually thought of that the instant I posted my suggestion. It was actually more of a light-hearted wish for Caedes to host such a section, because I was sure that it had been suggested in the past. But still...it would be nice to see.

Well, I uploaded a picture of our team. It's not really of the game itself, but I think it's a start.
