Does anyone know how to locate a person who is in another country other than the USA? I need to do a search for someone in Australia.

Have you tried Facebook? You'd be surprised who's on there. Almost everybody has a Facebook profile nowadays.

Well unless you have a bit more information (such as date of birth, age, gender, area they live in, school they went to) or it's a very unique name, you'll find it very difficult to track them down. That is unless you are willing to phone up/email thousands of people.

it will be like looking for a needle in a haystack.. unless you have an idea of a suburb.. Australia is a HUGE place, I really don't like your chances of finding them.

Verena .. personally, If I were you, I would charter a plane, fly over Australia, and drop leaflets (check on the littering laws first) .. and, since you're up there, you could call out their name occasionally (check on noise ordinances first)
