If anyone has some time, I would love some commentary on my shot: Fall Highlands. While the index isn't great, I had some good comments and I liked the shot, so I was reasonably happy with it. I'd like to hear some critical commentary on the shot as a landscape though. I suppose it is not interesting enough? I tried to capture the panoramic view as best as possible (with NIKKOR 18-55)...I think with a better lens that would've been easier. Anyway, thoughts? Thanks in advance :)

I'll bite:

My version (it's set to private, not public).

I selectively darkened the blues, added contrast to the oranges, and brightened the dark land area. (using photoshop's select --> "color range" and "curves" (curves adds saturation btw)).

In terms of how to make it better with the camera, I'd personally go for the ultra wide angle look by stitching images together (both horizontally and vertically) so there would be more 'perspective'.
