Just wondering what your favourite e-mail program is and why you prefer it over others.

Pegasus Mail, I still have messages from 1998 and several ISPs ago somewhere in there. The program has been constantly updated since it started in 1990, and seems very full-featured. Lately I've had some trouble setting it up for a few IMAP servers, but it never had trouble with POP-based mail.

Did I mention it's FREE?

But lately I've been mostly stuck with various webmail interfaces. At least until I can set them up with Pegasus, as I mentioned.

I use Eudora. I used to use Outlook Express in the days when I didn't know better. I guess one just gets used to a certain way of doing things.

I've just started using Thunderbird myself. I can say I am already impressed with it's spam-blocking abilities. In the space of two days I went from receiving over 100 spam emails a day down to about 15. Nice :)
