You don't have to crop them, just resize them. If you have Windows Xp there is an easy way to do it. You can download a little add-on called: Powertoys, Home Edition. And then when you install it, when you right-click on the image, it will say "Resize Image", then you just select the size you want. Also doing this will compress the image to make it a smaller file size. If you want quick and easy access to the file, I made a little website for it, so my cousins could download it quick and easy. Here is it is [powertoys]

Hope this helps

Photoshop will work I'm pretty sure ( I don't have it, but I hear others say they use it). And the maximum size is 1600*1200.

Yea, photoshop *might* just be able to do that... :-)

With photoshop running, on the top toolbar, click "Image", go down to "Image Size..." and you can change the size in the box that pops up. For uploads here, set "Width" to 1600 and "Height" to 1200. That's the max size Caedes supports at the time, but make sure to save the higher quality original.

With Photoshop, you can choose the higher quality to have a picture under 500 Kb

You can do it in Paint also, but it requires a bit of fiddling.... the powertoys are the best way, I had forgotten about that. Thanks for the reminder WN, I will have to reinstall mine again...

No problem, I love that picture resize tool, use it all the time. Like if I want to resize pictures to send them to people I don't have to open each one in a program to resize, plus it compresses it too which is nice. Kill two birds with one stone. =)
