I've been asked to put together some promo posters for a local band called Fracture and I was hoping I could get some input from you guys.

The info I have to work with is: "fracture live unplugged @ the drive, 23rd December, 8.00 Free entry" "ummmmm....its christmas, its light hearted.....but we're not a joke band.....soo.......i duno, just go for cool, slightly abstract images - like the cover for a rush of blood to the head" "we've got a new song called red rose....so if u wana use a rose as part of the image"

Those are quoted from things they said. So if anyone has any idea would be greatly appreciated. If I like idea you have given your name will be advertised somewhere on the poster or even in the sleeve of their CD.

I recently made a poster using an image by co2metal. Maybe it will give you some ideas of what can be done. I basically just modified the image to my needs and then overlaid the text. It took about 30 minutes.
