Poll feature testing

I've been working on a new feature that will allow us to create Polls to ask questions and help make decisions on the site. You can test it out here: http://www.caedes.net/Zephir.cgi?lib=Poll. The eventual idea is that it can be used to allow the members to make decisions about how the site will work and for those changes to be automatically put in place when the poll "finishes". have fun playing with it, and let me know if you find any problems or have any feature requests.

Some features that I'm already planning:

- Allow voting on multiple items at once.
- Allow the creator of a poll to edit it.
- Set the ending time for a poll (e.g. "3 days from now").

The only thing I would say is that I noticed the poll results are showing at all times. That might discourage people from voting (say if there's 100 votes for yes and 3 votes for no, then there's really no point in voting) or it could sway someone to vote a certain way. Can that be changed so the results only show up after someone has voted?

Well maybe not, if a poll results are skewed that badly, but still if you felt very strongly about something wouldn't you vote anyway ? I would.

Looks good. I do wonder how you would prevent too many polls running at the same time and also prevent the same polls being posted by different members.

Would polls be sorted into categories like the forums?
