I don't have an i-phone so I'm not familiar with them but a friend of mine does and is having trouble trying to send photos to my email using her phone...anyone have any easy-to understand instructions that I might pass on to her? I think (?) there is more than one way to do it...either she can send a photo directly from her phone to my email address OR she can use her phone to access her gmail and then send photos from her email to mine but so far it hasn't worked for her. Any tips etc. I can pass on to her would be appreciated.

I have never tried to send photos on mine. I don't think theres any way to access the photo album from the safari browser on the phone. I also know that i cant view attachments in hotmail at all so that suggests to me tgat attachments and iphones arent really compatible.

I think the easiest way would be to send a photo via sms... I think there is a feature on facebook that allows you to upload photos from your phone but I havent tried to do that yet.

hmmm...same problem here...I can read her text message in hotmail but can't open attachments...I'll do some googling to see what comes up...if all else fails we'll try facebook...thanks, Sam.

i think it also depends on what version of the phone OS you are using - I know they added a lot more features to resolve the problems you describe recently and there are also lots of free apps you can install for sending images - as Sam said - Facebook for instance have their own app for sending photos direct to your account.

I got an email today which had a photo attachment and it loaded without any problems. I have updated the phone software recently so it could be that or Microsoft may have updated hotmail.

Thanks for the imput on this...my friend finally figured out how to do it but perhaps it does make a difference on what version you have too.
