I need your guys' artistic opinion on something.
I've got a site that I just designed for art and tech submissions,
and I'd like some feedback on the overall layout/design etc.

today are crowded and unfriendly looking, and hopefully

One suggestion; you might want to add a "Veiw all" function under each category (eg visual arts) until there is more content on the site. This might help prevent people having to browse through empty gallerieswhich might discourage them and result in them leaving? Once you have some content in each subheading you could remove the "veiw all" function if desired. Just an idea.

Classy is a good word. Simplistic and effective. I like the layout, most of all the color scheme, I'll devour it later for bugs and such. We should get up about linking once my site is live.
