You could also have black lines, or crop the images to that size. This way you would lose part of the image, but with some of them you wouldn't acctually notice.

It's in the works, along with dual-monitor sizes, and an all new all-singing, all-dancing, veritable carnival for the senses at caedes.net. Well, not so much the second part, but at last word, caedes was planning to add code to allow uploads of any size. So you may see this soon/eventually.

Just get a new laptop with a widescreen, so I was just wondering what the status of being able to view images in widescreen?

i guess i'll just have to stick to findind desktops that blend into a solid color around the edges.. and then set the "background color" to that color..
it would be nice to have widescreen desktop images though..
