Hey, for some reason when I try and render a frax flame, the progress bar fills very quickly, but then no image is rendered. Everything looks fine in the viewer as I create it, it just won't render. Any ideas?
yes, that is caused sometimes when you try to render at too high a quality, and it sort of gives up on it.. just try the same thing at a lower quality and it should be fine.
& if it still screws up or doesn't do the job, I found trying to render anything bigger than a canvas of 1000 x 1000 is a lost cause on my machine at the moment, though it's only a 1.8 P4 processor running it, but it's got shedloads of memory.
I am like Yin & Yang, my lighter side is balanced by my darkerside, embrace both & you get the whole me, play with one & you will meet the other...

Update: Yeh, its just completely transparent at top quality, becoming more visible, until its fine at the lowest quality (sparse, low). This is all well and good, except I need it at high quality. It's always worked fine before, the progress bar usually takes much longer - why should it be any different all of a sudden?
