Does anyone know for sure when you are on the homepage of CAEDES.net & you click on a category...lets say NEW IMAGES...before it takes you to NEW IMAGES it will first throw up a splash screen of something other than CAEDES.net...either something of past relationships & how to renew them or something dealing with High School Reunions....why would CAEDES have SPAM to that degree?

Steve - Even though we want to give credit to CAEDES for a Pop Up, just because it happens on this site, Caedes does not create the spam Your computer allows it thru cookies you have stored on your hard drive. In other words you got Spyware! it is not much to worry about, but you should get rid of it. How? I suggest you read reviews about Spyware programs, and determine which one would work best for you. I use Spyware Doctor. I pay a yearly subscription fee, and upload new updates every third or forth day. I check my computer for Spyware at the end of each week. This will No Doubt! cure your problem. Now if you are tired of all the Ads that pop-up or appear on your favorite web page, may I suggest you try a program called Ad Muncher, I use this program to eliminate the pesty ads that seem to come out of nowhere. IT WORKS GREAT! Type in the program name in a Google search and you will be taken to the home page of the provider. The internet is not free any more, it is full of rough spots and pot holes. For a smooth ride, you need to obtain the protection programs, now the Internet is more like a Toll road. Good Luck. Moose

I think that I know what you are describing. It is possible that it is being caused by one of the advertisers. It is difficult for me to tell which one though. I will look deeper into the problem. Thanks for the notification.

I've been seeing this aswell. It is usually the animated dolls with the name Zwinky or something like, that I see for that split second add before the next page loads. I hope this helps you.

I made some changes with the advertising. Let me know if you still see this.

I had an advert for "The Economist" for a bit.

Went away though, no splash ad/screen for a while now.

Not sure if this is attributable to my changing browsers from IE 7 to that of Firefox 3.6 (I have not enabled 'ad blocking' to any extent through the option's menu(s)).
