I'm trying to upload a pic. They say format is too large. I'm new at this. How do I change the format size so I can upload a photo?

Depending on the particular program you use; go to "Image," the bar on your screen at the top; select "Resize;" select "Image Size;" chose "Pixels" and then the size in width and height that best fits your needs.

Use file export, then chose a custom size and put 3000 as the maximum. That should then work. You can also change the type to PNG if you need to.

To expand on what coram9 has stated above -

In iPhoto - Select your photo to export.
Click on the File menu and choose Export.
Select the file type to export. (PNG is best for Caedes)
For the Size choose Custom.
Under Size select Max Dimension of 2000 or 3000
Click the Export button.
In the Export Photos dialog enter the location you wish to export to and click OK.
Your newly created file will appear in the location you have chosen ready for upload.
