Good morning
Have been idly and casually wondering for a number of weeks now. What criteria (if any, and not counting that they are logged on) are used to work out which members appear in the list of members that appear under the heading <number> Members Online. Like, right now it says there are 122 members online, but sure as eggs, there isn't 122 names listed.

Pierre is correct. So for example, at the mo' it says "157 Members online" and "94 guests online". So if you counted the number of names in the list, it should be 63. "Guest" means someone who has just come across the site and hasn't had that message saying they have to register yet :-)
Good morning
Ah - thanks Sam. So the issue is really in the sytax used in the bold text that gives the impression that the number of guests online is not included in the bold text. Makes sense, as right now it says 80 members online, and 55 guests online - you do the sums and that is the number of names in the list. I just have to make the mental adjustment of saying 80 people online, of which 25 are logged in members.
Enjoy your day
