i have bryce 5 but not terrigen, if seen some really good picks with both, but wondering what makes 1 better than the other? if 1 is better...well anyways i would appreciate your comments,

I have both theft and I personally like Bryce better. Granted - I don't know much about Terragen, I think that Bryce is more versatile. terragen is strickly for landscapes (as far as I can tell from using it). I'm learning now that Bryce can be used for landscapes as well as some amazing abstracts. if you want just landscapes I think that terregen is great. Maybe someone with a better knowledge of both can help you out more. : )

bryce by far is better for skies, water, atmosphere, etc. But terragen is much better for realistic mountains. plus its free

and both programs produce lots of crap, it's just that terragen is free so more ppl have it... therefore there is more terragen crap out there.

no no no. i'm saying some people would say Terragen isn't as good because of a lot of crap that is made with it, but I'm saying it's not because it's worse or anything, it's just because more people have it.
