Insect Repellent and Camera Equipment

Anyone lucky enough to be enjoying the sun, will hopefully be taking advantage of it and getting out with their cameras.

If like me, you enjoy taking photo's of things which involve wading through the undergrowth, then you too will be plagued by the very things that you are trying to take photo's of.

The obvious answer is to apply insect repellent. However, a word of warning. Some repellents will 'eat' certain plastics and the stuff cameras are made of being one of them.

The repellents to be aware of, are the ones that contain DEET which is contained in varying concentrations in many popular brands.

I still use DEET based products, but don't apply any to the face and fingers, etc.
